ELLSWORTH — Jack Weeks scored with 1 minute and 16 seconds left in the first half and the top-seeded Ellsworth boys soccer team scored a three goals in the second half to pull out a 4-0 victory over Waterville in an Eastern B quarterfinal game Wednesday.

Jared Whitley, Brandon Bagley and Ben Haslam also scored for Ellsworth (14-0-1). Steven Malton finished with nine saves to earn the shutout.

No. 9 Waterville finished 8-5-2.

Liam Edwards had 15 saves for the Purple Panthers.

No. 2 Camden 4, No. 7 Erskine 0: Peter Vannorsdall scored two goals in the first half and the No. 2 Windjammers rolled into the semifinals.

Grayson Szumilas and Zach Pitcairn also scored for Camden Hills, which will host No. 3 Winslow on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Jared Gartley had seven saves for the No. 7 Eagles (12-4-0), who were outshot 14-5.

No. 2 Lewiston 3, No. 7 Messalonskee 1: The Blue Devils raced out to a 2-0 lead and then held off Messalonskee to earn the Eastern A quarterfinal victory in Lewiston.

Maslah Hassan and Abdibaari Hersi scored about a minute and a half apart midway through the first half as the second-seeded Blue Devils (12-1-2) were in control. Abdi-Shariff Hassan also scored for Lewiston.

Brandon Nale scored off a pass from Juan Cardona to lead the No. 7 Eagles (6-7-2). Jonah Webb had six saves as well.

No. 4 St. Dom’s 1, No. 5 Mt. Abram 0: The Saints scored an own goal with about 16 minutes left in the first half and the Saints held on to earn the Western C quarterfinal victory,

St. Dom’s improved to 13-1-1..

It marked the first time Mt. Abram (11-4-0) was held without a goal this season. The Roadrunners also lost back to back games for the first time this season.

Tristen Dyer had 12 saves for Mt. Abram.
