The city has seen great progress during the almost six years that I have served on the Augusta City Council. This city is headed in the right direction with positive change.

We have witnessed business expansion, thousands of new jobs, a downtown that is coming back, the arrival of much less expensive natural gas to heat our homes and businesses, educational improvement with test scores climbing, a beautiful new world-class hospital.

This has been accomplished within fiscal constraints by a council that works together, unlike the fiasco that is our Congress in Washington.

I am proud to have been a part of Augusta’s progress and would like to serve one more term in the job that I love for the people that I have represented to the best of my ability.

I hope residents will give me that opportunity, because, believe me, nobody works and fights harder than I do.

I work for the city of Augusta and its residents.
