I urge my Hallowell friends to join me in voting for George Lapointe to fill the open at-large seat on Hallowell City Council.
George has experience, skills, judgment and temperament that will serve all of us well as our city tackles budget, tax, infrastructure and public service challenges over the next two years. He is firmly committed to a quality education for our kids.
George is a good neighbor, a successful small business owner and a respected former state official. He and his family are familiar faces in our schools and in our civic life. Both of his sons have worked for me. They are terrific young men and a credit to their parents and our community.
On Nov. 5, vote George Lapointe for Hallowell City Councilor-at-large.
