I want my fellow Franco-Americans in Augusta to know how supportive city councilor at-large Cecil Munson has been for the development of Mill Park, in the north end.

Cecil has been there for us from the beginning: the park, the pavilion, petanque with Ray Fecteau and the Heritage center. When Jan Michaud and the executive board of Friends for a Heritage Center at Mill Park first met with Munson, it became apparent that we could count on him. The Heritage Center’s mission is to honor all those who worked at Edwards mill, shoe shops, paper mill and other manufacturing plants in Augusta.

As many other constituents have learned about this fine man, Munson is there for us.

Munson must be re-elected city councilor at-large on Tuesday, we need him.
