WATERVILLE — Chris Lee scored his first career hat trick as the Waterville boys hockey team beat Houlton/Hodgdon 6-1 in an Eastern B game Monday at Colby College.
Waterville (4-0-1) scored five straight goals, including three in the second period, to break a tie game. Dalton Denis added a goal and an assist, while Tommy Samson and Michael Oliveira each added a goal. Nick Denis had three assists, while Todd Serbent and Andrew Roderigue each had one.
Kaleb Kane had 23 saves to earn the win.
Lucas Grant scored from Gage Hunt for Houlton/Hodgdon (1-4-0), while Chase Brewer had 37 saves.
BANGOR 5, LAWRENCE/SKOWHEGAN 1: Owen Trundy and Sam Kenney each had a goal and an assist as the Rams beat the Bandits at Sukee Arena in Winslow.
Jake Fournier, Sam Huston and Andrew Elston also scored for Bangor (4-1-0).
Trey Michonski scored from Chase Nelson for Lawrence/Skowhegan (1-3-0). Sam Edumondson had 26 saves for the Bandits.
