WINSLOW — Trevor Lovely scored a career-high 37 points to lead Winslow to 71-39 win against Erskine in Kennebec Valley Atheltic Conference Class B boys basketball action Monday night. Lovely also had nine steals.

Nason Lanphier scored 11 points and had eight assists for Winslow (4-2). Justin Martin had 11 rebounds for the Black Raiders.

Jared Gartley led Erskine (0-6) with 14 points.

Edward Little 64, Mt. Blue 48: Lew Jensen scored 31 points as the Eddies beat the Cougars in a KVAC A game in Farmington.

Andrew Middleton added 17 for Edward Little (4-3).

Zack Mittlestadt had 15 points and Drew Parsons nine for Mt. Blue (2-3).

ST. DOMINIC 49, CARRABEC 40: The Saints overcame a slow start to catch the Cobras in the second half. Hunter Fernald scored 16 points to lead St. Dom’s (6-1) while Madison Jalbert added 14 and Eric Ulin 10. For Carrabec (4-2), Richard Layton scored 12 points and Boog Dunphy 10.

LAWRENCE 62, BREWER 59: Lawrence rallied in the second half to take the KVAC A win in Brewer.

The Bulldogs trailed 34-29 at the half. Brad King led Lawrence (3-4) with 16 points, while Brandon Hallee added 11.

Matt Pushard had 19 points for Brewer (2-5).

Gardiner 67, Nokomis 62: Seth McFarland scored 22 points, half on free throws, to lead the Tigers to the KVAC B win in Newport.

Brad Weston added 13 points, seven rebounds and four blocks for Gardiner (3-3) while Alex LaPointe had 11 points and Ed Weymouth seven rebounds.

Nokomis (0-7) was led by Andrew Cartwright with 23 points, Jake Winslow with 17 and Sam Brown with 11.


SKOWHEGAN 51, HAMPDEN 44: Morgan Buker scored 14 points an dhauled in 12 rebounds to lead the Indians to the KVAC Class A win in Skowhegan. Taylor Johnson added 10 points for Skowhegan (5-1) while Courtney Dunton paced Hampden with 11 and Erin Murphy scored 10.

WINSLOW 44, ERSKINE 35: Caira Leclair had eight points as the Black Raiders beat the Eagles in a KVAC B game in South China.

Devin Fitzgibbons and Delaney Wood each added six points for Winslow (5-1).

Mallory Chamberlain had nine points for Erskine (1-5).

Lawrence 66, Brewer 34: Nia Irving had 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs to the KVAC A win in Fairfield.

Dominique Lewis added 19 points, including five 3-pointers, for Lawrence (5-1) while Jordan Towers had seven points and five assists.

Brewer (2-4) was led by Maddy Bailey with 13 points.

ST. DOMINIC 38, CARRABEC 32: Callie Greco had 13 points as the Saints beat the Cobras in North Anson.

Kelly Pomerleau added 12 points for the Saints (6-1).

Emma Pluntke had nine points for Carrabec (4-2).

RANGELEY 48, VALLEY 29: Taylor Esty had 18 points as the Lakers cruised to a win over the Cavaliers in Rangeley.

Tori Letarte added 10 points, while Maddison Egan had six points and three steals for Rangeley (5-0).

Teagan Laweryson had 16 points for Valley (2-3).

EDWARD LITTLE 42, MT. BLUE 25: Kory Norcross scored 17 points tpo lead the Red Eddies to the KVAC Class A win in Farmingotn. Tianna Harriman added 10 points for the winners who jumped out to an 18-5 first-quarter lead. Miranda Nicely led the Cougars with 18 points, nine rebounds and three steals. Edward Little is 7-0, Mt. Blue is 4-2.

LEAVITT 43, MCI 41: The Hornets used a a 17-11 advantage in the third quarter on their way to the KVAC Class B win in Pittsfield. Meagan Dow led the winners with 13 points while Tasha Cloutier scored 11. Bri Losee paced the Huskies with 13 points. Leavitt is 3-3, MCI is 1-5.

LINCOLN 51, MT. VIEW 31: The Eagles outscored the Mustangs 23-4 in the seocnd quarter en route to the KVAC B win in Thorndike. Barrett Campbell led Lincoln with 14 points while Brie Wayer added 11. Courtney Morse paced Mt. View with 12 points.

College men

ST. JOHN FISHER 85, THOMAS 50: The winners jumped to a 40-19 halftime lead en route to the win in Pittsford, N.Y. Adam Ambielli led the winners with 23 points while Levi Barnes paced Thomas with 10. St. John Fisher is 5-4, Thomas is 2-7.
