I would like to thank all of the workers from Central Maine Power and other utility companies who gave up their Christmas in order that we could have ours. They worked under cold and icy conditions that were extremely challenging.
Our small village of East Vassalboro got its power restored after about 36 hours. I know that we were all very happy to see those bright orange CMP trucks in town. Best Christmas presents ever — heat and light.
