Students at Erskine Academy honor peers and staff at Renaissance Assembly
SOUTH CHINA — Erskine Academy students and staff recently attended a Renaissance Assembly to honor their peers with Renaissance Awards.
Recognition Awards were presented to the following students: Makayla Busque, Zackary Isbell, Kala Freytag Wistar, Renee Beaudoin, Danika Barnum, Erica Basham, Avery Bond, Katie Holzwarth and Kristy Moody.
Senior of the Trimester Awards were also presented to six members of the senior class: Dominic Pizzo, son of Deanne and Greg Pizzo, of China; Abigail Glidden, daughter of Avery and Lisa Glidden, of Palermo; Zachary Childs, son of Bill and Margie Childs, of China; Alexis Wright, daughter of Gary and Kim Wright, of Vassalboro; Emma Wilkinson, daughter of Kelly and Joel Wilkinson, of Windsor; and Richard Preston, son of Janet and David Preston, of China. Seniors of the Trimester are recognized as individuals who have gone above and beyond in all aspects of their high school careers.
In appreciation of their dedication and service to Erskine Academy, two Faculty of the Trimester awards were also presented to Florence Holmes, retired science instructor, and Heide Hotham, guidance secretary.
