GARDINER — Ed Weymouth had 20 points, three steals and two blocks to lead Gardiner to a 58-50 win over Lincoln in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference Class B boys basketball action Wednesday night.
Brad Weston and Seth McFarland each scored 10 points for the Tigers (6-4) while Josh McKelvey had five points and seven rebounds.
Lincoln (5-5) was led by A.J. Oliver with 15 points and Devin Scherer with 12.
Kents Hill 75, Gould 31: Luke Arsenault had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Huskies to the Maine Association of Independent Schools Athletic Directors win in Bethel.
Trevor Guity led Kents Hill (3-2) with 15 points. Melkas Kwemo had 10 points and 10 rebounds while Khalil Webb added seven points and 10 rebounds.
Gould was led by Jewels Arsenault with 15 points.
LISBON 52, MADISON 51: Trailing by one point, Jacob Johnson made a basket as time expired to give the visiting Greyhounds the MVC win.
Johnson finished with 12 points for Lisbon (7-5) while Tucker Brannon added four.
Jared Miller scored 14 points, including four 3-pointers, to lead Madison (5-6). Derek LeBlank chipped in with 12.
Carrabec 64, Mt. Abram 38: John Layman had 15 points as the Cobras beat the Roadrunners in an MVC game in North Anson.
Boog Dunphy added 13 points for Carrabec and Levi Murray had 10.
Jave Davenport and Dan Luce each had nine for Mt. Abram.
Girls basketball
ST. DOMINIC 49, WINTHROP 18: Faith Grady and Kelly Pomerleau each scored 12 points to lead the Saints to the MVC win in Auburn.
Alexis Dwinell added nine points for St. Dominic (10-2).
Corinna Coulton led Winthrop (0-13) with five points.
