Allen, of Hallowell, receives dean’s honors

CEDARVILLE, Ohio — Laura Allen, daughter of Curt and Pam Allen of Hallowell, Maine, has been named to the dean’s honors list for the fall 2013 semester at Cedarville University.

Allen is a freshman majoring in early childhood education.

O’Neill receives dean’s list honors

UNITY — Ryan J. O’Neill, son of Colene O’Neill of West Gardiner, has been named to the honors list —highest honors at Unity College.

O’Neill is a senior majoring in forestry and park management.

McQuarrie named to dean’s list

FRANKLIN, Mass. — Megan McQuarrie of Vassalboro, Maine, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Dean College in Franklin.

Ingram receives dean’s list honors

ORONO — Alex Ingram of Winthrop has been named to the fall 2013 semester dean’s list at the University of Maine.

Ingram, a 2013 graduate of Winthrop High School, is majoring in chemical engineering. He is the son of Steven and Kerrie Ingram of Winthrop.

Zhang, of Augusta, receives scholarship

RICHMOND, Ind. — Michelle Zhang, a first-year student at Earlham College, is serving as a Bonner Scholar this semester at Hand in Hand Adult Daycare.

The Bonner Scholars Program is a scholarship and leadership opportunity that calls for 10 hours of volunteer work a week during the academic year as well as two summers of service.

Zhang is the daughter of Yang Li and YouZou Zhang of Augusta.

Murphy named to dean’s list
