Jan. 15: A male juvenile was charged with criminal mischief after police responded to the Central Maine Learning Center on Oakland Road. The juvenile reportedly broke a door, punched holes in the walls and destroyed a ceiling in one of the rooms. The boy was released to his mother.

Wednesday: At 2:29 p.m., there was a report of drug possession on Route 27.

5:20 p.m., a car hit a deer on Oakland Road.

Jan. 15: A 22-year-old man was charged with marijuana possession during a traffic stop on Maine Avenue.

Jan. 14: Police responded to a report of a family fight on Chesterville Ridge Road. A woman and uncle were arguing, but the altercation had not turned physical. The woman and uncle were separated. There were no charges.

A 44-year-old West Gardiner man was charged with violating probation.

Jan. 15: A 28-year-old Hollis man was charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop for an inspection sticker violation on Route 32.

ARRESTSAugusta

Jan. 16: A mother and daughter from Augusta were arrested during a traffic stop on First Avenue. Kathy Tupper, 50, and her daughter, 22-year-old Samantha Tupper, were both arrested on charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and sale and use of drug paraphernalia. Kathy Tupper also was arrested on a warrant and a charge of violating conditions of release. Both were found guilty Jan. 17 in Augusta District Court. Kathy Tupper was found convicted of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violating conditions of release. She was sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined $400. Samantha Tupper convicted of possession of hypodermic apparatuses and falsifying physical evidence. She was sentenced to 24 hours in jail and fined $200.

Belgrade

Jan. 16: Leon Burgess, 27, was arrested and charged with violating conditions of release after police reportedly discovered marijuana and alcohol in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Route 135.
