OAKLAND — Regional School Unit 18, which includes Belgrade, China, Oakland, Rome and Sidney, recently announced Pre-K registration packets will be available at its elementary schools Monday, Feb. 3. Parents interested in sending their child to pre-k in the fall of 2014, should pickup registration packets at the local school office. Children must be 4 years old by Oct. 15, 2014.

Kindergarten screening will be held at elementary schools on the following dates for each school:

• China Primary School, March 26; 445-1550.

• Belgrade Central School, March 27; 495-2321.

• Atwood Elementary School, March 31; 465-3411.

• James Bean School, April 1; 547-3395.

Children must be 5 years old by Oct. 15, 2014, to register for kindergarten for the fall of 2014.
