Morton Moesswilde, a district forester with the Maine Forest Service, instructs fourth-grade students from Regional School Unit 4 — Litchfield, Wales and Sabattus — on forestry and logging practices recently in Litchfield. More than 100 students attended the field trip, on Oak Hill Road, where they saw logging and sawmill equipment in action.
