A man suffered injuries that were not life-threatening Saturday in a snowmobile in Athens, a fire official said.
The rider was taken from the Pond Road accident to Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan for treatment, according to Athens Fire Chief Travis Thompson, whose department participated in the accident response.
A Somerset County police report showed the accident was reported at 11:55 a.m. Saturday and wardens and fire and rescue crews were at the site until 1:15 p.m.
Thompson he was not at the accident scene, referring inquiries to the Maine Warden Service.
Wardens did not return calls about requests for information.
