The Maine Turnpike Authority says traffic flow has returned to normal after a three-vehicle crash at mile 39 northbound on the turnpike early Monday morning.
The Maine Turnpike Authority lifted the traffic alert at 6:21 a.m., as emergency crews cleared the crash area between Exit 36 in Saco and Exit 42 in Scarborough.
The National Weather Service says snow will continue to fall lightly through the morning commute, creating slippery conditions on streets and roads. Motorists are advised to use caution.
