There is great debate in our Capitol about a boy taking his BB gun to school.
I often, as you all know, think about the past. That is how us old duffers survive, thinking about the past. When I was a kid, our school bus driver often would take his shotgun along to stop and shoot an occasional partridge.
Now, if our most brillant minds prevail, my newest great-grandson will not be able to take the new Daisy rifle I just gave him to school.
He will, however, in a few short years be eligible to go to some foreign land and get his head blown off. God bless America.
