Col. Richard Brackett (letter, Feb. 11) has taken the position that Hillary Clinton is not qualified to be commander in chief. The main reason seems to be Benghazi.

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has conducted numerous investigations in this matter and no creditable blame was placed on Clinton, then secretary of state. In fact, the last investigation did not even mention her name.

Now in the news comes the notice that retired Gen. David Petraeus thinks that Clinton would make an excellent commander in chief.

Now who do I believe? A colonel of what branch of service from Gardiner or a four-star general who graduated in the top 5 percent of his class at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, a former director of the CIA and a commander in Afghanistan?
