BENTON — Absentee ballots are available at the Town Office for the 2014 town elections. Regular voting will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 14, at the Town Office for the following four positions: selectman (three-year term), treasurer/tax collector (one-year term), road commissioner (one-year term) and school board member (three-year term).
Registered voters may request absentee ballots for themselves by calling the Town Office at 453-7191 during regular business hours. Voters may also come to the Town Office to obtain ballots for themselves and for immediate family members; or voters may come to the Town Office and vote during normal business hours.
Residents not registered to vote in Benton can register to vote at the Town Office 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and Friday and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday. The town meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, at the Benton Grange.
