GARLAND – Maine State Police detectives are investigating the death of a man in the Penobscot County town of Garland.
State police say 62-year-old Daniel Neal was found dead Wednesday in a Garland home. WABI-TV reported that the Dover-Foxcroft man was staying with family.
Trooper Paul White said an autopsy will be conducted Thursday.
White said dogs at the home were quarantined as a precaution but that it’s unclear if the family pets had anything to do with the man’s death. He said the medical examiner will provide answers.
