I read in the Morning Sentinel that Waterville City Councilors voted to award a $540,000 contract to improve Cool Street, Wolfe Street and Patricia Terrace, and to reclaim and pave Greenwood.
I am very disappointed that Drummond Avenue wasn’t included in this contract. Drummond Avenue is and has always been the major thoroughfare toward Thayer Hospital and shopping centers.
I am asking that the city councilors reconsider and take the time to inspect Drummond Avenue. I am sure that once they drive on this road, they will come to the same conclusion that I have: That not repairing and paving this road is totally unacceptable.
