Kudos to Norman Perkins for his letter to the editor (March 11, “St. Patrick’s Day should be holy day, not just holiday”). It takes courage to state the historical facts of St. Patrick’s Day. In this religious left political culture, revealing our Christian roots could get someone serious harassment and hate mail.
