MADISON — The Madison Farmers’ Market will host it’s first Community Supported Agriculture program. The Madison-Anson CSA is offered by the Runamuk Acres Farm & Apiary of Anson, and shares are now available in single, half and full sizes. This CSA is a debit-style system, where share-holders establish a credit with the farm, and then shop at the Runamuk farmstand during market hours for their choice of anything available at the Runamuk stand — from seedlings to vegetables or eggs, to honey, soap or beeswax products.

The market is held 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sundays, and will run for 20, May 4 through September 14. Keith and Samantha Burns, the Runamuk farmers, hope the program will be the start of a new local-foods hub for Madison/Anson and surrounding communities.
