Because a rash, pink eye and other children’s illnesses can happen quickly, MaineGeneral’s pediatric practices offer Pedi Speedy Hour, a convenient way for you to get your child seen quickly.
For established patients who are sick with a minor health concern, we offer walk-in care with check-in between 7:45 and 8 a.m. at Kennebec Pediatrics and Winthrop Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine. Walk- in care is available for concerns like cough and cold, rash, sore throat, vomiting, diarrhea, ear pain, pink eye, fever and sprains. These appointments are NOT for ongoing/chronic health issues. Pedi Speedy Hour is available Monday through Friday, not weekends or holidays. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
