A real estate agent for Laflin & Wolfington Realty in Hallowell has earned a certification for technology and social media from the National Association of Realtors.

The agent, Harrison Wolfington, joined more than 30,000 real estate professionals who have earned the association’s e-PRO Certification, according to a news release from real estate agency.

The program helps real estate agents connect with consumers online through social media, email marketing and website promotion, according to the release.

“Today’s consumers are beginning their real estate search online,” Wolfington said in the release. “With an increasing number of consumers turning to social media and online technology throughout their home search, it is essential for today’s agents to have the knowledge and training necessary to connect with these consumers online.”
