NORTH ANSON — The Carrabec High School softball team, with help from the All Activities Boosters Club, will hold a 5k Run/Walk to benefit Breast Cancer Research and booster activities. Registration starts at 10 a.m. with the run/walk starting at 11 a.m. Sunday, May 4, at the high school.
Suggested donation is $10 per person or $25 per family of three or more. Registration with a T-shirt is $25 per person.
Medals will be awarded for the best time in multiple categories will be awarded. Following the run/walk there will be a silent auction at 12:30 p.m., with many items donated by area businesses to include a four night stay at a Maine Lakeside Cabin, Sugarloaf vouchers, five baseball clinic sessions at Thomas College, gift cards and more. Refreshments will be sold which include hot dishes, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks and fruit.
