Street fight results in two women’s arrest

WATERVILLE — Two women were arrested Saturday morning after a report of a fight on Temple Street. The fight spilled over into the parking lot of the Social Security Administration across from the Bob In restaurant and tavern. The fight was reported at 1:38 a.m.

Police later went to The Big Apple store on Elm Street as part of the investigation and someone was taken to the hospital, according to the Waterville dispatch log.

Arrested were Christina M. Albino, 21, of Bronx, N.Y., and Irene M. Campbell, 25, of Western Avenue in Waterville. Both women were charged with aggravated assault and taken to the Kennebec County jail in Augusta.

No other information about the incident was available Saturday.

ARRESTS

IN SOMERSET COUNTY, Saturday at 12:08 a.m., Joshua Allan Pinkham, 34, of Cornville, was arrested on a warrant for theft by receiving stolen property.

IN WATERVILLE, Saturday at 12:15 a.m., Brock Dunton, 25, of Vassalboro, and Jake Dumais, 27, of Waterville, were arrested on Water Street after a report of a fight at The Chez. Both men were charged with criminal threatening and both were released after posting bail.
