An Avon man was arrested on felony drug charges Friday following a drug bust by the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department.
Daryl “Poochie” Searles, 56, was arrested after police seized drugs, cash and guns while executing a search warrant at 148 Avon Valley Road in Avon, said Franklin County Sheriff Scott Nichols in a press release.
Police seized a pound and a half of processed marijuana, more than 400 prescription oxycodone and hydrocodone pills that together equal 9,252 milligrams, over $100,000 in cash and firearms.
Nichols said Searles has been charged with aggravated trafficking of schedule W drugs, the oxycodone and hydrocodone, a Class A felony punishable by up to 30 years in prison, and unlawful trafficking in schedule Z drugs, the marijuana, a Class C felony punishable by up to five years in prison.
