A Pittston man was arrested Monday night and charged with domestic violence assault, domestic terrorizing and threatening with a dangerous weapon.
Maine State Police responding to the 5:30 p.m. call found the man, Shawn Burgess, 37, in the driveway of his Blodgett Road home and arrested him without incident, said state Trooper Eric Verhille. Burgess, who had a loaded rifle, was booked at Kennebec County jail, Verhille said.
Two adult women and a 19-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy were at the home at the time, Verhille said. One of the women and the two males also lived there, he said.
No one was seriously injured, Verhille said.
