SKOWHEGAN — Somerset Career & Technical Center held its annual open house and skills showcase recently and the evening was a successful event with an attendance of approximately 200 family members, friends, school personnel, business representatives and community members.
Student demonstrations were ongoing in automotive technology, cooperative education, culinary arts, early childhood education, electrical construction, digital graphic arts, information systems technology, health care careers, outdoor leadership and skills and residential construction.
College, financial aid and scholarship information was available and door prizes were drawn.
