CARRABASSET VALLEY — When it comes to skiing, Sugarloaf is the last one still in business in Maine. But all good things must come to an end, even after a snowy winter and cool spring temperatures.
Sugarloaf says skiers and snowboarders will finish off the season this Saturday and Sunday.
Spokesman Ethan Austin said the resort is once again the last one in Maine to close. As of Wednesday, the resort still had more than 50 trails open.
