WALES — Oak Hill scored a run in the bottom of the seventh on Parker Asselin’s sacrifice fly to defeat Lisbon 4-3 in Mountain Valley Conference baseball action Wednesday.

Brady Dion opened the seventh with a double, advanced to second on an error and scored on Asselin’s game-winner. Asselin finished with three hits while Dion singled and doubled and teammate Dalton Therrien singled and tripled.

Brett Gravel had four singles for Lisbon (2-4) while Kyle Bourget singled twice and doubled.

WINTHROP 13, BOOTHBAY 3, 6 innings: Zach Steele earned the win and added two singles and an RBI to lead the host Ramblers to the MVC win.

Ben Allen had a double for Winthrop (3-1).

Dan Aponte hit two singles for Boothbay (0-5).

KENTS HILL 14, BREWSTER 2, 6 innings: Augusta native Riley Boivin pitched a one-hitter to lead the Huskies to the New England Prep School Athletic Conference win in Wolfboro, N.H. Riley fanned five and walked three in running his record to 3-1. Santa Takahashi had three hits for Kents Hill (4-2) while Chris Nottage singled and doubled and Nate Rich had two singles. Brewster is 2-9.

SOFTBALL

OAK HILL 4, LISBON 3: The Raiders rallied for two runs in the bottom of the seventh for the MVC win in Wales. Kelsey Collins singled home the tying run for Oak Hill and Grace Sabine followed with the game-winning hit. Sabine finished with three hits while winning pitcher Sadie Goulet struck out six. Molly Nicholson had four hits for Lisbon (1-4). Oak Hill is 4-4.

WINTHROP 23, BOOTHBAY 0, 5 innings: Molly Glacier and Alyssa Arsenault each had two singles to lead the host Ramblers to the MVC win.

Abby Helm added a triple for Winthrop (3-1). Boothbay falls to 0-5.
