CHINA — Eric and Kathryn Cioppa, of China, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Ryann Elizabeth Cioppa, of Portland, to Christopher Michael Fortney, also of Portland, son of James and Robin Fortney, of Limerick.

Ryann is a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono. She is employed as an integrated absence manager by Prudential in Portland.

An April 18, 2015, wedding is planned in the Dominican Republic.
