RICHMOND — Sophomore pitcher Mike Stewart pitched a complete game, striking out 10, to lead the Richmond baseball team to a 7-0 victory over Old Orchard Beach on Tuesday afternoon.

Stewart walked three and allowed three hits for the Bobcats (5-1).

The Seagulls dropped to 3-6 with the loss.

GIRLS LACROSSE

CONY 16, EDWARD LITTLE 1: Mary Kirschner, Becca Conniff and Emily Quirion each scored two goals to lead the Rams to the KVAC A win at Cony.

Bayleigh Logan contibuted a goal and an assist as well for Cony (3-0).

Fran Haines scored for the Red Eddies (0-5).

SOFTBALL

RICHMOND 22, OLD ORCHARD 0, 5 inn: Freshman Meranda Martin pitched a no-hitter and drove in five runs to lead the Bobcats to the non-conference win in Richmond. Martin struck out 11 and walked one in hurling her first varsity no-hitter. She also homred, tripled and singled twice. Katlyn Swan and Kalah Petterson added two singles each for Richmond (6-0).
