Winslow High School recently announced its top ten seniors for 2014. The are in alphabetical order:

Aren Carpenter, son of Sharon Douglass, of Winslow, and Art Carpenter. Carpenter plans to attend Davidson College, in North Carolina, majoring in biology.

Megan Denis, daughter of David Denis, of Winslow, and Paula Denis of Clinton. Danis plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in creative writing.

Rebecca Grenier, daughter of Mark and Seven Grenier, of Winslow. Grenier plans to attend the University of New Hampshire, majoring in biomedical/pre-vet.

Kymberlee Leighton, daughter of Darlene Sproul and step-daughter of Joseph Sproul, of Winslow; and daughter of the late Michael Leighton. Leighton plans to attend a post-secondary school with an undecided major.

Nathaniel Lombardi, son of John and Wilma Lombardi, of Winslow. Lombardi plans to attend The College of the Holy Cross in Massachusetts, majoring in bio/chem (pre-med).

Brennah O’Connell, daughter of Kevin and Susan O’Connell, of Winslow. O’Connell plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington, majoring in pre-med.

Rachel Sirois, daughter of Marc and Sarah Sirois, of Winslow. Sirois plans to attend the University of Maine with an undeclared major.

Logan Vashon, son of Michael and Maureen Vashon, of Winslow. Logan plans to attend Husson University, majoring in physical therapy.

Matthew Vashon, son of Michael and Maureen Vashon, of Winslow. Matthew plans to attend the University of Maine, majoring in chemical engineering.

Bethany Winkin, daughter of David and Cheryl Winkin, of Winslow. Winkin plans to attend Bryant College in Massachusetts, majoring in international business.
