PHILLIPS — Viola Rothschild, of Phillips, has been awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to study in China for 2014-15. She also received the Government and Legal Studies Department Prize for Excellence in Comparative Politics at Bowdoin College and attained highest honors for her senior thesis on Generational Attitudes in China towards the Japanese. She is the daughter of Norman Harry and Cheng Mei Rothschild and granddaughter of Catharine and Michael Rothschild, all of Phillips.
