WATERVILLE — Florence Donovan, HVWA Resale Shop volunteer, was recently chosen by Hospice Volunteers of Waterville Area for her involvement and support. Donovan, as well as many other community volunteers, were honored during the REM Award Ceremony at the Waterville Opera House.
Donovan has volunteered for HVWA since the summer of 2012 and has logged more than 80 hours. Donovan is not new to volunteering. She has volunteered since she was a girl helping to raise money for the American Cancer Society, Thayer Hospital children’s book program and has volunteered with the Canaan Fire and Rescue Auxiliary for the past 13 years.
Donovan lives in Waterville, has two daughters, Heather and Shannon, one son, William and a grandson, Maxwell.
