Local students recently participated in Leadership Schools offered by Kieve-Wavus Education, Inc. Hall-Dale Middle School students took part in a five-day program that helped them learn healthy communication skills, develop positive peer relationships, built trust and practice problem solving and teamwork. “At The Leadership School, I learned what it means to be a leader, a good follower and an overall good citizen,” Mackenzie Creamer, an eighth-grade student, said in a news release. Seventh grade students from Vassalboro Central School participated in a similar three-day program. This is the eleventh year the school has participated in the program at Camp Kieve.
