BENTON – A paddle trip is set for 9 a.m.-noon Saturday, June 21, on the Sebasticook River, hosted by Sebasticook Regional Land Trust.

The paddle will begin in Benton and end in Winslow. Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Biologist Erynn Call will participate. Call with Biodiversity Research Institute is conducting research on the importance of the river for bald eagles. The trip is co-sponsored by Maine Rivers.

Advanced registration is required to allow for carpool logistics. To register and receive directions to the launch site, email jennifer@SebasticookRLT.org or call 948-3766.
