Call for art entries for Invitational Juried Art Exhibit
PITTSFIELD —The Pittsfield Public Library will hold its fifth annual art show and seeks local artists to participate by submitting original work to be shared with the community.
The event is open to all artistic media — painting, drawing, printmaking, fiber, sculpture, photography; with 16′ x 20′ being the largest framed piece allowed for exhibition. Organizers will accept digital photos of all submissions.
The deadline is Thursday, June 30. Artists will be notified by Tuesday, July 3, if their submission will be exhibited. Set up for the art show will be Monday, July 14.
An artist’s reception will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 15. The show will run through Friday, July 18. Art work may be picked up after the show on Monday, July 21.
