AUGUSTA – Admission to all of Maine’s state parks and historic sites will be free from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, in honor of Fathers’ Day.

All vehicles with Maine license plates will receive free admission to 48 state-owned and operated locales, according to a news release from the Maine Department of Agriculture. Free admission will not be offered at Baxter State Park, Scarborough Beach State Park or the Penobscot Narrows Observatory in Prospect.
