YARMOUTH — Brendon Todd Burns, son of Cynthia and Robert Burns, of Sidney, graduated from Royal Academy, in Gray, recently at a ceremony celebrated at the First Parish Congregational Church.

As is the custom at graduation, each student’s teacher spoke personally about each of their students. The parents of each student were called to the front to present the diploma to their son or daughter, signifying the important role of parents in the educational program of their children.
