Franklin Community Health Network employees raised $591 last month for the nonprofit Western Maine Homeless Outreach, Franklin County’s first homeless shelter that opened its doors in November in the basement of the Living Waters Assembly of God Church. The money raised came from winning bids on unique May baskets created by employees in conjunction with Employee Spirit Month. From left are Joline Hart, FCHN vice president human resources; Emily Chaney, shelter manager; Jan Bell, shelter board member and FCHN employee; and Jodi Cordes, employee recruitment and volunteer services administrator, and May basket organizer.
