MADISON — Cam Abbott hit a double and picked up a save on the mound to lead Franklin to a 5-4 win over the RTD 49ers in an American Legion game.

Abbott entered the game as a pitcher in the seventh inning for Taylor Bacon, who earned the win for Franklin (1-0).

Derek LeBlanc hit a double for RTD (0-1).
