Starting from the back of the field was no problem for two brothers from Skowhegan Saturday.
Bryan Lancaster edged brother Dylan in the 25-lap New England Pro 4 Tour race at Wiscasset Speedway in a race that the two cars ran away with. Dylan Lancaster took the lead on lap 17 — never giving it back — and by the 20th lap both cars had lapped the third-place finisher, Ryan Glover, of Mexico.
In the 20-lap Thunder 4’s race Wiscasset’s Ryan Chadwick and Winslow’s Cody Robbins jockeyed for the lead throughout, but ultimately Chadwick emerged for his fifth win of the season.
Jamie Heath, of Waterford, was third, while Richmond residents Cody Tribbet, Nate Tribbet and Curtis Anderson placed fifth, 10th and 11th, respectively. Madison’s Travis Poulliot finished eighth.
Lewiston’s Corey Morgan took first place in the 35-lap Strictly Street race, while Richard Spaulding, of Lisbon, and Tasha Dyer, of Freedom, finished second and third, respectively.
Matt Weil, of Biddeford, held off Kris Knox, of Sanford, to win the 15-lap Mini Trucks and Milton’s Jerry McKenna followed in third.
In the 35-lap Late Model Sportsman race, Waldoboro’s Will Collins held off a pair of Wiscasset residents for the victory. Nick Hinkley was second, while Billy Pinkham took third. Sidney’s Chris Thorne crossed the line in ninth place.
