James D. Barnes, 50, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault, by police responding to a complaint on Water Street.
CHELSEA
Wednesday Stephanie Smith, 23, was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear and a new charge of operating after suspension, during a traffic stop for an inspection sticker violation on Route 9.
GARDINER
Friday Jason Sturtevant, 40, was arrested on a warrant and new charges of marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop on Route 201. Sturtevant was a passenger in a car stopped for a traffic violation. The driver, a 36-year-old man, was charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs after police reported uncovered 3.9 ounces of marijuana while searching the vehicle.
9:11 p.m., Nickalaus Allie Vigue, 34, of Gardiner, was arrested on charges of criminal threatening and possession of a usable amount of marijuana by police responding to a report of one person with a knife chasing another on Highland Avenue.
MONMOUTH
Friday at 10:16 p.m., Terri Lynn Miller, 50, of Falmouth, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence during a traffic stop on Main Street.

June 17 Jaime Gibbons, 36, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault.

Wednesday Michael Stufflebeam, 35, was arrested on a warrant at VA Maine Healthcare-Systems Togus after hospital officials discovered the warrant during a background check conducted as part of the hiring process. State police and Togus police arrested Stufflebeam at his worksite.

June 15 t 8:23 p.m., Timothy Gingras, 24, of Winthrop, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence on Main Street.
June 16 at 6:21 a.m., Dawn L. French, 43, of Winthrop, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault.
