WATERVILLE — Each spring, KFS awards scholarships to selected high school seniors who plan to attend college in the fall. Scholarships will be awarded to: Paige Plourde, of Waterville High School, who plans to attend Kennebec Valley Community College in the fall to study for physical therapy assistant; Madison Furst, of Erskine Academy, who plans to attend Eastern Maine Community College in the fall to study medical assisting; Rebecca Watson, of Erskine Academy, who plans to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in the fall to study aerospace engineering; Jesse Enos, of Messalonskee High School, who plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington, to study secondary education/chemistry.
Each student will receive $1,000 once completing the first semester.
