The 30th anniversary of the Trek Across Maine is in the history book, with cyclists having another couple of months to turn in more donations.
Much thanks are due the staff of the American Lung Association in Augusta and New England for their hard work in organizing this event, the hundreds of volunteers who give up their time to assist this great cause, the trekkers who have raised so much needed funding to fight for clean air and lung disease research, the thousands of people and businesses that supported the trekkers with donations, all of the sponsors of this event, the motoring public for helping to make this years trek a safe one, to those that donated message boards and speed limit boards, the list could go on and on.
Anyone who has ever thought about doing the Trek Across Maine, either volunteering or riding, or both, are invited to sign up for the 31st annual Trek Across Maine, June 19-21. Search the Web for 2015 Trek Across Maine.
