BELGRADE LAKES — Belgrade Historical Society will sponsor a program by Daniel Buck Soules, an appraiser of antiques, at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at the Maine Lakes Resource Center, 137 Maine St.
Soules has appeared as an independent appraiser on the PBS television show, “Antiques Roadshow,” and has conducted appraisals for prestigious museums such as the Smithsonian Institute in Washington. His knowledge of the Shakers and their furniture led him to co-author the book, “Simple Gifts”.
While continuing to conduct appraisal events throughout the U.S., Soules and his wife make their home in Maine.
Admission cost $5 for non-members and free to members of the Belgrade Historical Society.
