ROCKLAND — Connor Graffan tripled and doubled to help The First edge the Red Barn 11-8 in an American Legion Zone 2 game Tuesday.
Ryan Allendar had a pair of singles for the first as well for The First (4-4).
Tayler Carrier had two triples and Mitchell Caron added a pair of doubles to pace the Red Barn (3-5).
GARDINER 7, FRANKLIN 0: Dalton Therrien hit a home run, a double and two singles to lead Gardiner to the Zone 2 victory. Ben Allen and Brady Dion also doubled for Gardiner (2-5). Kyle Fletcher pitched a complete game, striking out eight, to earn the victory. Amos Herrin had two singles to lead Franklin (4-3).
