WATERVILLE — Two drivers were transported to the hospital with minor injuries Friday following a collision on Ticonic Street.
Sally Lawrence, 57, of Waterville, was driving north around noon Friday when her visor blocked part of her view and her car struck a SUV driven by Melissa Fitch, 45, of Fairfield, according to Sgt. Alden Weigelt of the Waterville Police Department.
The responding officer, Chase Fabian, reported Fitch and Lawrence were transported to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries, said Weigelt.
Weigelt said both the 2003 Chevy Trailblazer driven by Fitch and the 2008 Kia Optima driven by Lawrence were damaged and towed from the scene.
